This five-day training programme forms part of the QCTO Facilities Manager qualification and is focused on building an understanding of the role facilities management play and adds value to an organisation.
Upon successful completion the delegate will be able to:
- Understand the role and scope of facilities management
- Evaluating the advantages and disadvantages, likely costs, and potential savings of different models of facilities management service delivery and innovative ways of working
- Characterise the scope and context of the facilities management function with specific reference to the uniqueness of the role of facilities management in business
- Discuss resource requirements for the evaluation and delivery of facilities management support services by different methods
- Conduct business sector analysis and stakeholder relations
- Describe the nature and significance of facilities management functions relationship with client and stakeholders
- Describe the facilities management principles and criteria for performance and quality management
- Evaluate the importance of identification and monitoring the impact internal and external influences have on facilities management service delivery
- Describe principles to consider when monitoring whether customers expectations are met or exceeded
- Understand the fundamentals of business optimisation
- Evaluate systems and processes that inform business decisions
